Please submit any competition-related questions to enyacompetitions@gmail.com.

Q1. What number should I put on the back of my board? The ACTEVA transaction number or the credit card confirmation number?
A1. The seven digit ACTEVA transaction number.
Q2. Who is eligible to participate in this competition?
A2. Any student or professional (architect, landscape designer, planner, engineer, designer, artist) who has received an undergraduate or graduate degree after Sept. 10, 1999.
Q3. What are the exact site boundaries?
A3. While there are no specific boundaries, entrants are encouraged to use the bridge and the open spaces adjacent to the bridge. Entrants may choose to arrange the programmatic elements of the project on - in -around - next to - parallel to - adjacent- perpendicular - over - under -on axis with- behind or generally in proximity to the bridge and open spaces adjacent to the bridge and parks. Proposals sitting along the neighborhood edge and/or into the adjacent neighborhoods should be respectful of the context.
Q4. Are there any specific or itemized programmatic requirements?
A4. No. The program requirements are set up as a series of objectives with some basic suggestions to allow entrants the flexibility to program the site as they saw fit.
Q5: Is it possible for the competition committee to post GIS topographical data for the area, or to include more topographic information south of the Highbridge (drawings M-T-37-108 & M-T-37 107) and on the Bronx side of the river?
A5. Unfortunately, we do not have a CAD file available for the site. The following link does have a topography map available for a small fee:

Q6: Do you have any CAD files I can use?
A6. No, we do not have any CAD files or digital models of the site.
Q7: I registered my team (2-4) for the High Bridge Cultural Building competition. However, I did not find any link or form to inscribe team members. I only have a link (within the acteva confirmation mail) to download site information files. How may we submit team members' names?
A7. Registration will be conducted by ACTEVA, a secure online registration agency. All major credit cards are accepted. Checks will also be processed through ACTEVA by mail. Once registered, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail with notification of how to access the website to download supplemental information. When registering for a team or group, you must add all team members' names to the confirmation e-mail attached to your submission. You should not register each member separately with ACTEVA. This is from the following link:

Q8: How do I submit my design board?
A8. The information on how to submit entries to the competition can be found on this website under the “Register” link then under the subcategory “Requirements”. http://www.enyacompetitions.org/requirements.html
Q9: Is there a discounted price so educators can participate in the competition, or is it intended to allow educators to use the material in an academic setting without participating in the competition?
A9. Educators are allowed and encouraged to use the material in an academic setting without participating in the competition. Educators may purchase the competition materials for use in an academic or studio setting for $35. Students that wish to participate will need to register individually or in teams if they wish to compete.
Q10: I’ve decided not to submit an entry after I registered. Can I get a refund?
A10. Sorry, there are no refunds after you have registered.
